The Milonga (social tango dancing) After the show, we invite you to join the cast and other experienced tango dancers for an evening of social tango dancing. We will dance 'salon tango' , the dancing style that can be found in bars and clubs all over Buenos Aires. The dance is completely improvised and shared in a close embrace by the dancers who are focussed on the music. The tango DJ will play music from the classic era of tango, some of which you will be familiar with if you have seen films like Sally Potter's "The Tango Lesson" or Robert Duvall's "Assassination Tango" If you take part in the tango workshop before the performance you will learn the basics of tango and be able to join us on the floor after the show. Or simply sit back and observe a dance that is as mesmerising as 'watching flames'. Tango milonga from 9.30pm - midnight. |
